Tamar Asher-Avnon, who aspired to become an architect since she was 12 years old, established her private architecture office in 2003 and has gradually increased her customer base. Her husband, Dror Avnon, joined a few years later, after his support in the background turned into a mutual passion to develop their design and management office into the family life achievement. As the office activity ramped up, additional professionals were hired, lovingly accepting the unique vision and approach of the Avnon couple
Dror Avnon was born and raised in Haifa, Israel. Upon his release from his military service at a Lieutenant’s rank, he started his studies of Electrical Engineering at the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, in Haifa. He graduated in 1978. After a successful career lasting over 25 years in the High-Tech industry both in Israel and in the United States, he decided to make a career change. He joined Tamar’s line of business with a conviction to make it a successful family business combining the architectural vision and the innovation of the high tech discipline. Dror’s main responsibilities are business development and design automation, while he also contributes from his expertise to projects integrating advanced systems in the home.
