Our Approach

Home is the place we always come back to. It has to be cozy, welcoming, calming and relaxing - constituting the shelter we all need. The home must be a place which is fun to return to; a place we miss, even when we’re visiting exciting and exotic places.

This concept directs us from the initiation of any design process of a new home or remodeling. It is applied at all levels: Beginning with the conceptual program which determines the necessary functions, their appropriate connections; Going through the detailed design, which translates the conceptual program into areas and passages; And finally, with the choice of finishing materials that will “dress up” the house and give it its unique feel, matching the desired style and design goals.

Our approach refrains from fads and whims. We try to adhere to well established and proven design principles, technical solutions and materials. These will have a greater chance to withstand the times: not become worn-out and out of style, but rather “mature” with dignity and grace.

We believe in an architecture which is based on hundreds of years of design and styling practices. It uses a visual language which is rich in detail and relies on design and aesthetic principles that withstood the times, such as proportionality, harmony and symmetry. We try to avoid slim style architecture, poor in detail, claiming a modern and minimalist approach. Too often this trend has resulted in family homes projecting coldness, alienation and a lack of homey feeling.

The lifestyle in Israel is stressful, possibly more than in any other western country. A meticulous design, which serves us, fits our daily needs and provides a sense of security, along with classical principles, emphasizing harmony and wholeness; will greatly contribute to the peacefulness and serenity we need so much. It will help turning our home into our most favorite place.
